Discount Program

Merchants have the facility to offer discounts to their customers. Through exchanging points, customers can avail discounts on their orders. For example, a customer possesses 100 points, and therefore they can avail a 10% discount on their order. 

Note: The discount will be applied to Shopify Subtotal Price

Merchant Interaction: 

Here, a merchant can choose to offer a discount in one of the two ways. 

  1. Discount Percentage 
  2. Discount Amount 

Discount Percentage : The merchant can set a discount percentage on the subtotal value in relation to redeeming points and minimum spend. For example, a merchant sets a 10% discount in exchange for 100 points on a minimum order of Rs. 2000. 

So according to this example, whenever a customer with 100 points shops for 2000 or more and applies the discount they get 10% off on their Shopify Subtotal Price.

How to set up a discount program on inback?

  1. Go to the inback redeem program panel. 
  2. Select the Redeeming Program section on the top.  
  3. Click Create on the first Discount Program option
  4. A pop-up window will appear. 
  5. Add a name for the Discount Program 
  6. Choose a discount type: Percentage Discount or Amount Discount 
  7. Type in the number of points to be redeemed on this particular discount. 
  8. Set a Minimum Amount Order. 
  9. Click on Done 
  10. You’ve successfully set up a discount program. 

How will customer avail Discount?

  1. View reward
    Customers can see the Free Shipping reward in the Redeeming Programs section of the store widget.

  2. Redeem the reward
    Find the reward in the redeeming program section of the widget. Click on Redeem.

  3. Coupon in My Coupons
    A coupon code for free shipping appears in the My Coupons section.

  4. Use at checkout
    The customer can copy the code and apply it during checkout to get free shipping.
