Free Gift Program

The Free Gift Program allows merchant to offer customers a free product in exchange for their loyalty points. Customers can redeem their available points to claim the free gift, based on set rules.  

For example, the merchant sets a rule where a free t-shirt is given in exchange for 150 points and on the orders above Rs.999  (on ui)

Why is the Free Gift Program Important? 

Incentives and complementary products make customers feel delighted with their overall experience with a brand. The value of the product is justified through free gifts. Merchants may use this feature to introduce  trial/sample products.  

Merchant Interaction:

Easy set-up of Free Gift Program  #

1. Find Redeem Program tab on Loyalty Program page of inback 
2. Beside Discount Program, there’s a Free Gift Program option 
3. Click on Create 
4. A pop-up window will appear 
5. Set the Program Name. Example: Free T-shirt Program 
6. Click on Browse Product to select from your inventory. 

This is the complementary product. If a product is out of stock, it’ll appear in grey color. 

1. Enter Points Required to Redeem the free gift option.  
2. Set a Minimum Order Value for the coupon to be applied. 
3. Click on Done to finish the set up 

Note: The minimum order value will be based on Shopify Subtotal Price. 

End Customer Interaction:

The end customer can add items to their cart, fulfilling the Shopify subtotal price. If the price is equal or greater to the minimum order value, end customer is eligible for a free gift. They can apply the coupon while check-out and receive the benefit.  The coupon should be applied after adding the products to the cart. Once applied, the end customer can move to checkout, and the order is completed. 

How will customer avail Free Gift?

1. View reward
   Customers can see the Free Gift reward in the Redeeming Programs section of the store widget.
2. Redeem the reward
   Find the reward in the redeeming program section of the widget. Click on Redeem.
3. Coupon in My Coupons
   A coupon code for free shipping appears in the My Coupons section.
4. Use at checkout
   The customer can copy the code and apply it during checkout to get free shipping.
