The Shopify subtotal price is the total cost of all the items in a customer’s cart before any discounts, taxes, shipping charges, or additional fees are applied.
For Example:
A customer, Riya, purchases 2 products from a merchant, X. The products and their prices are as follows:
- Moisturizer of Rs. 500
- Serum of Rs. 900
The total of two products is Rs. 1400.
This is the raw, or subtotal, value of the products purchased by Riya.
There’s no addition of taxes or deduction of coupons.
Shopify Subtotal Price Use #
The subtotal price will be used in providing discounts, free shipping, and free gifts.
